RECOGNITION WEEK!
Recognition Week is a week long program where NRHH selects different groups who work hard to make living on-campus an extraordinary experience for students and recognize them through various means. Some of the past groups we recognized were MUPD/OPD, HDGS staff, Rinella Learning Center, Office of Community Engagement & Service, Parking Services, ASG, RHA, the Central Staff of ORL and the Miami Metro. This is a big week during our year & is a great way to say THANKS to those who make on-campus living better!

October 26th: Student Counseling Service
We have especially noticed the Student Counseling Service’s commitment and excellence in:
-Individual counseling
-Group counseling with a variety of groups so that students can find support and help for specific concerns
-Consulting with and teaching Office of Residence Life staff members how to effectively communicate with residents and when and how to refer residents to the Student Counseling Service
-Programming in the residence halls regarding psychological concerns that many Miami students face in addition to helping with the Tunnel of Oppression
-Career exploration and career counseling
