MATT FORREST

Hello! My name is Matt Forrest the President of the 2009-2010 National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH), inducted in Fall of 2007.  I am a senior International Studies and Geography double major from Chicago, IL. This will be my fourth year working for on-campus students, serving as the General Assembly Representative to Emerson Hall my first year and then as the Programming Director and President of RHA over the next two years. Additionally I am also involved in Campus Activities Council and the University Honors Program. I am excited for the year ahead and the opportunity to provide recognition to everyone who makes living on-campus a great experience. I have without a doubt have had some of my best experiences in college during my time within the residence halls and can not wait to see all of the exciting things that come out of this year. VICE-PRESIDENT MARY VAN ARSDELL

Hey Guys! My name is Mary Van Arsdell and I am so excited to be this year’s NRRH Vice President! I’m a senior majoring in English Literature and Mass Communication. I’m from Naperville, IL. My sophomore and junior years I worked as a Resident Assistant in Dennison Hall; this year I’m living off-campus but am very pleased that I have to opportunity to continue my involvement in Miami’s residence life through NRHH.  Outside of NRHH, I am a member of Phi Sigma Pi, Sigma Tau Delta, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and I volunteer at the Animal Adoption Foundation and the Oxford Community Choice Pantry whenever I get a chance.  If you ever need to reach me, my e-mail is vanarsma@muohio.edu. OF THE MONTH CHAIR JASON JONES

Good day to you!  My name is Jason Jones, and I serve as the Of the Month Chair (OTM) Chair for NRHH this year.  I am a Junior Finance major with a Minor in Anthropology.  My hometown is in small, little, rural Ottawa, Ohio.  I currently live in Clawson Hall as a second year Resident Assistant.  My goal this year as OTM Chair is to boost submitted OTMs and have a more of a presence at the Regional and National level.

RECOGNITION CHAIR LIZ KIRKHAM

Hello Friends! My name is Liz Kirkham and I’m your Recognition Chair for spring semester! I’m a junior Speech Pathology and Audiology major with a minor in Family Relationships from Mason, Ohio. I was inducted into the Richard L. Nault chapter of NRHH last spring, and I’ve loved it ever since. In addition to NRHH, I’m Programming Director of the Residence Hall Association and am in my second year of the Scholar Leader program. The four pillars of NRHH mean so much to me - I’ve learned a lot about my leadership strengths this past year. I strive for excellence in scholarship and academics. I love service, and recently had the opportunity to work in Over the Rhine in Cincinnati with Miami’s Center for Community Engagement. Can’t forget about recognition! Acknowledging people for their hard work is so motivating and encouraging; who doesn’t love a pat on the back?! I can’t wait to work with you this semester, recognizing deserving people, programs, and organizations at Miami! OUTREACH CHAIR JENNIFER FINNEY

Hello, my name is Jennifer Finney and I am so excited and honored to be serving as Outreach Chair for NRHH! I am a marketing major and decision science minor. Originally I am from Rochester Hills, MI but my home now is here in good ol’ Oxford, more specifically in a cute little white house on Vine Street. Besides being in NRHH, I am a member of Alpha Omicron Pi and Miami University Student Foundation where I serve on ERC, Alumnae Relations, and Spacom committees. Even though I live off-campus this year, the best times and experiences I have had were in Residence Halls my first two years here. Having said that, I am devoted to making on-campus living the best it can be and a real home away from home. I am oversee recruiting and advertising for NRHH. ADVISER MAULIK KHATADIA

My name is Maulik Khatadia, and I will be serving as one of the Co-advisors for NRHH this year. I am originally from Mumbai, India where my family still lives. Aside from NRHH, I am also a First Year Adviser in Clawson Hall which is home to the International LLC, academically advise to over 120 first year students, supervise 5 amazing RAs, and be a resourceful hall director for the Clawsonites. I earned my undergraduate degree in Accounting with a minor in Forensic Accounting, and recently graduated with a Masters in Business Administration from Indiana State University. I am very passionate about NRHH since being inducted in 2004 because of everything it stands for.  Everyone likes to be recognized, and NRHH takes recognition to the next level.
